Web Host / ‘we’ or ‘us’– Southport Web Design

Customer – any person or business purchasing services from Southport Web Design, such as but not limited to – Domain Names, Web Hosting, Email Accounts, SSL Certificates, SEO Services, Social media or Google account creation, IT Support including remote connection services, network creation & repair & site visits.


Upon purchase of products from Southport Web Design you will be asked to leave a deposit (usually 25% of the total order price).

We will then purchase your chosen domain name and register it in your name, then make your website at an agreed time.

Once completion of the site has been agreed we will ask for final payment – Final Payment must be completed within 30 days of your domain name purchase (day deposit received) and or completion of your requested website, whichever arrives first..


Our website hosting plans are all for 12 months, they start on the day your domain name is purchased and are included in the initial price you have paid for your new website.

At the end of your 12 month hosting plan we remind you (the customer) that your hosting plan is about to end usually within 2 to 3 weeks prior to the end of the term, then in the last week before it ends.

you (the customer) will be offered a 12 month renewal plan which is currently £195 per year as of Feb 2023.

If your 12 month hosting plan runs out and you have not purchased another 12 month hosting plan with us then your website and attached email accounts will unfortunately be disabled.


Every website we make requires 1 email account to work, this is included in any of our 3 website package deals.

With every website we make we provide one required email account and one extra email account of your choice. eg : yourname@yourdomainname.co.uk

Additional email accounts maybe be purchased (if you have a website hosting plan with us ) for £35 each per annum.

Email accounts can also be purchased separately for £45.


Under certain circumstances it may be necessary for us to purchase individual software licenses (12 month duration) to activate certain required plugins or software not normally included in our website design process.

Software licenses are valid to be used only for the term of your web hosting plan, and remain the digital property of Southport Web Design through out any purchased hosting plan.


Domain transfers in from other company’s are charged at £25. Domain transfers away from our hosting (outside of 12 month hosting contracts) are charged at £25 + the cost of domain renewal if it is outside the domain name renewal timeframe ( included on your annual invoice are domain name purchase ‘to’ and ‘from’ dates).

Domain transfers and Southport Web Design website & Email Hosting.

If a domain name is transferred away from our registrar then any website and or email hosting we currently supply will be terminated and any remaining web & email hosting forfeit.

We (Southport Web Design) do not allow external companies to access our hosting or email provisions in any circumstance.
