Ransomware is malware (a virus) that locks your computer and mobile devices or encrypts your electronic files, then demands a ransom to unlock them.
You can’t get to the data unless you pay a ransom.
However this is not guaranteed and you should never pay!
The European Police agency Europol has joined forces with police and cyber security companies to launch a worldwide initiative to combat and tackle together the exponential growth of Ransomware used by cyber criminals.

When you visit the site you are asked a series of questions to determine which version of the infection you have
you are asked to upload 1 or two of the files that have been encrypted or the file (.txt or .html) with the ransom note left by criminals
then the site will aid you in removing the ransomware if it can.
