Heads up on a virus thats becoming more and more prominent at the moment. it has a few variants but the most common 3 are Update your – Java / Video Player / Flash Player.
Symptoms – Re-Directs from current Page to – lpmxp201.com or updowntot.com – Then Hijacks your Browser…
This malware is an intermittent Pop Up and will hijack your browser to re-direct you to different pages than you actually search for. It will also change your Home Page and the search engine you currently use.
AVOID CLICKING YES or OK AT ALL COSTS…….
IF YOU SEE THIS POP UP CLOSE YOUR BROWSER IMEDIATELY… (HIT THE RED X AT THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN)….

Download the cleaner and right click on it – Hit Run as administrator

Hit Yes to User Account Control then Hit the SCAN Button

Make sure any results found are ticked on the left – then HIT CLEAN..!

Seems to be hiding in the registry under
HKCU\Software\AppDataLow\Software……
